Years ago, I found myself chasing pastries across the Channel —
hopping delayed Eurostar trains, sprinting down cobbled streets,
all for the chance to say *“one of everything, please”* in broken
French before the doors of my favourite patisserie closed. Breathless, heart pounding, but triumphant — I’d made it just in time.
That joy, that obsession with beauty and flavour, is what inspired Le Cake Shop.
Today, my cakes are an ode to those breathless moments: edible artistry layered with buttercream flowers, glossy ganache, and flavours worth pausing for. Each creation is made with the same joy and fervour that once sent me running through the heart of France.
